Biopolis

Biopolis is at One-north is a biomedical hub and it is one of JTC’s core projects to boost the biomedical industry as Singapore’s next engine of economic growth. Biopolis is the premier research hub for Biomedical Sciences and hosts leading public and private biomedical research institutes and organisations, anchoring the development of the entire research and development (R&D) value chain of life sciences.

This encompasses basic drug discovery, clinical development and medical technology research. ​The Biopolis comprises 5 phases, with JTC undertaking the development of Phase 1 in 2003. Subsequent phases were developed by private developers and companies such as Ascendas and Procter & Gamble.

Biopolis Phase 6 will be built by mid-2022 to meet demand from biotechnology start-ups. The expansion of Biopolis is part of initiatives to better support such start-ups. Biopolis Phase 6 will add a further 35,000 sq m for research activities (including 2,000 sq m of laboratory spaces), with 6,000 sq m more for office and retail space.

Terra Hill condo is about 10 minutes drive from Biopolis in One North.

Fusionpolis

Covering 30 hectares of the one-north development, the Fusionopolis cluster is completed over 5 phases and is designed to provide an environment conducive to growth in the information and communications technologies (ICT), media, physical sciences and engineering industries.

The state-of-the-art research facilities promote infinite possibilities in scientific research and technological breakthroughs, while its abundant resources empower scientists and researchers to discover and innovate. Fusionpolis also provides a fertile ground for collaboration, making it the choice location for companies embarking on end-to-end business activities. ​​​​

Situated in Buona Vista, it is close to the ESSEC and INSEAD Asia Campuses, the National University of Singapore, the Singapore Polytechnic, the Institute of Technical Education, the National University Hospital, the Singapore Science Park, the Biopolis, and the Ministry of Education. It is served by the one-north MRT station connected to the basement of the building.

Fusionpolis is 10 minutes drive from Terra Hill.

Mediapolis

Mediapolis plays a vital role in Singapore’s infocomm technology and media (ICM) ecosystem. Created for the rapidly expanding infocomm, media, physical sciences and engineering sectors, the 19-hectare hub in one-north is supported by a robust IT infrastructure. Mediapolis provides a synergistic business environment, where the finest in the industry can thrive and grow.

Located in the one-north precinct, Mediapolis is envisioned as a one-stop vibrant and prestigious Live-Work-Learn-Play area, with residential spaces, green-lung parks, entertainment, and lifestyle precincts all within the same postal code.

Mediapolis @ one-north is a collaboration of four government agencies – Media Development Authority (MDA), JTC Corporation, Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and Economic Development Board (EDB) – each bringing its own expertise and strengths to the project.

Terra Hill is only 8 minutes drive to Mediapolis.

JTC Launchpad

Located at the heart of one-north, JTC LaunchPad @ one-north is a huge 6.5-hectare site that offers a conducive environment and nurturing ecosystem for startups and enablers in the biomedical sciences, infocomm, media, electronics, urban solutions and engineering industries. The development offers a range of unit sizes to suit the requirements of various startups and enablers.

Start-ups are companies who are:
• Singapore-based
• Incorporated not more than 5 years at the point of tenancy commencement
• Not a subsidiary of an established company
• Comply with URA industrial usage guidelines

Incubators are companies who have: ​
• Clear development programmes to nurture start-ups
• Strong network to grow the LaunchPad community
• Strong commitment to contribute to and enhance vibrancy of the LaunchPad cluster

JTC Launchpad is located only a short drive from Terra Hill condo at Yew Siang Road.
